Nate Johnson's life is a powerful testimony of redemption and hope. Once involved in gangs and criminal activity in the Muskegon area, Nate spent more than 12 years in prison for armed robbery and drug-related convictions. It was during that time that he gave his life to Christ.
Through others who invested in him along the way, Nate experienced the life-changing impact of mentorship. Today, he shares his story to remind others that transformation is possible and no life is beyond God’s reach.
Nate is the cofounder of Fresh Coast Alliance, a nonprofit serving men and women navigating addiction recovery and reentry after incarceration. He also serves on the senior leadership team at Kingdom Life Church in Muskegon and is an author and speaker who encourages others to pursue healing, restoration, and purpose. As a husband, father, and grandfather, Nate is passionate about helping others experience the power of faith, community, and mentors who walk alongside them in life.
