STATEMENT OF FAITH
What We Believe
MentorMe of West Michigan is a Christ-centered ministry committed to biblical truth. These convictions are the foundation of everything we do — how we lead, who we send, and the way our mentors walk alongside students. We share them openly so that every mentor, guide, family, and student knows exactly where we stand.

03
The Cross and the Empty Tomb
The death of Jesus Christ paid the penalty for our sins, making forgiveness and reconciliation with God possible for all who believe. Jesus rose bodily from the dead, demonstrating His victory over sin, death, and Satan.

Salvation
We believe the new birth is a work of God's grace through the Holy Spirit, whereby those who repent of their sin and place their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ are made new creations in Him and desire to walk in obedience to God's Word.

Made in God's Image
All human beings are created in the image of God and are “fearfully and wonderfully made.” God created only two distinct and complementary genders; male and female. Human life is sacred and worthy of dignity and protection at all stages, from conception to the tomb.

Psalm 139
06
Marriage as Covenant
God created marriage as a covenant commitment exclusively between one biological male and one biological female. Sexual intimacy is to occur exclusively in that union.
